This prayer service will honor couples who are celebrating or have recently celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.
We are honoring those married between 1995 - 2000.
Parishes are asked to register couples using this online form by Friday, January 31, 2025. In order for the Marriage and Family Life Office to facilitate the sending of confirmation letters, preparing scrolls, and seating assignment of the couples, no registrations will be accepted for the Celebration past January 31st.
Please Note: The Silver Wedding Anniversary Celebration is NOT A MASS, but a prayer service. Attendance of Mass for Sunday obligation will have to be met within one's parish.
At the celebration, all couples will receive a scroll with their names displayed as they request.
We ask that you be attentive to the spelling of their names and suggest the following formats:
- If a husband has no suffix at the end of his name, they should have the husband's name first, then the wife's name, and then their last name. [Ex. Louis and Zelie Martin]
- If a husband has a suffix at the end of his name, they should have the wife's name first, then the husband's name, and then their last name. [Ex. Mary and Joseph Nazareth, Sr.]
