Life Giving Wounds is a Catholic, peer-led, national ministry to help adults with Divorced and Separated parents find healing through the grace of Christ.
The Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Marriage and Family Life is partnering with Life Giving Wounds to bring this important and healing ministry to the New Orleans area. Last June we hosted our first Life Giving Wounds Retreat and are pleased to be offering our first series of support group meetings.
The LGW Support Group is for any adults of Divorced or Separated parents; you need not have attended the retreat to be part of the group.
The Life Giving Wounds Support Group will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm from September 17th until November 12th.
Our First and Last meetings (September 17 and November 12) will be held in in person in the first floor meeting room and chapel of the Archdiocesan Chancery Office building at 7887 Walmsley Avenue, New Orleans 70125 (next door to the Notre Dame Seminary). The rest of the meetings will be by Zoom. We'll send you a zoom link when you register.
There is no cost to be part of the Support Group, other than the materials that you can purchase below. Every participant will need a copy of the book and the workbook. If you need assistance purchasing the materials, please contact us!

Life-Giving Wounds Books
For the small group, you will need the Life Giving Wounds Book and the Companion Small Group Workbook. You can purchase them here if you need to, or bring the copies you might already have. Please Note: The workbook you will need for the small group is different than the retreat guide you received if you went on the retreat.
Life Giving Wounds Journal (Optional)
Journaling is an important aspect of the healing journey. You will need a journal for the small group and you can use any journal you prefer. The optional LGW journal is a high quality custom designed journal with carefully selected artwork and scripture passages specifically for Life Giving Wounds. The Smyth-Sewn binding is the standard for library and archival book making and allows the book to lay flat when open, making it easier to write in.
