Life Giving Wounds is a Catholic peer-led ministry dedicated to helping adults, young or old, with divorced and separated parents give voice to their pain and find transformative healing in Christ.
The Life-Giving Wounds retreat is a unique opportunity for young adults (18+) and adults with divorced or separated parents to reflect intentionally on the wounds caused by their family breakdown, together with others who know this pain and knowledgeable, compassionate retreat leaders.

This retreat will openly address the strong emotional aspects of family brokenness, and it may not be the best time to do so for everyone. You may wish to consult first with your counselor or psychologist about whether he/she believes it is a good time for you to attend a retreat like this one. While not required, we believe our retreat is a great complement to counseling, spiritual direction, and/or ongoing conversation with trusted friends. Let us know whether you've started talking about your family wounds in these contexts to help us to best serve you.
